We had a group stay during end of dec. 2014. It is a decent hotel quite ideally located close to the beach (5-7 mins walk). The overall service experience is rather un-satisfactory. Poor communication of entire reception staff, who not only fail to understand the guests requirements but also are rude and ignorant in their response. Group check-in took the reception desk one hour !! There is no method to handling requirements of handling such group check-ins. Room service is non-existant and so is the maintenance. Out of more than half a dozen rooms occupied during our stay, 2 rooms had faulty air conditioning. There were literally ice pieces falling from the AC unit all day long. The maintenance team visited three days in a row without a clue on how to repair the defects. Eventually the AC worked only for our last night of stay.
Staff needs to trained to be more sensitive towards the needs of the guests irrespective of their 'skin color' or 'nationality'. Different service standards for different ethnicity was clearly evident.
Extremely disappointed with the attitude of the hotel staff.
