Peaks were identified by comparison of retention timeswith those of the corresponding standards of FAMEmix-37 (Supelco, Bellefonte, PA, USA) and FAMEmix-C8-C24 (Supelco). Identification of the peaks included fatty acids between 4 : 0 and 24 : 0.
Amounts of fatty acids were expressed as a weight percentage of total methyl esters of fatty acids.
