Methamphetamine patients have cognitive impairments in many areas. A screening test is required to improve the diagnosis of poststroke cognitive impairment, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) test to evaluate cognitive impairment in methamphetamine patient. This test was used to evaluate cognitive functions in psychiatric patients such as personality disorder and alcoholic patients, and consumed an appropriate amount of time in administration. Therefore, this test in Thai version should be applied to evaluate cognitive functions in alcoholic patients in order to assist in effective rehabilitation planning.
