i.e. those that pick up on the professors’ discourses without modification as regards the interviewed professors
conception of pedagogical innovation. I then proceeded to an ordered reconstruction of the professors’ discourses in line with the research questions. An analysis of the
sub-themes relating to the concept of pedagogical innovation revealed seven themes in the interviewed
professors‘ discourses. These were novelty, change, reflection, application, improvement, human relations and
technology versus pedagogy.
