The responsibilities of the Council are numerous and all-embracing: ● sustain a common identity and a culture of collaboration and collegiality among the schools ● address staff development needs ● ensure the implementation of national policies, which are expected to be understood by the members of staff and followed; safeguard inclusive education and against any form of child abuse ● encourage project partnerships with other local and foreign schools ● maintain and sustain cooperation and partnership with the wider school community, particularly parents ● support operations performed by the education directorates ● discuss reports presented by the principal or a Head of School ● be accountable for proceedings and decisions adopted by the Council.
