Epithelial tissues provide vital physical and permeability
barriers to vertebrates [1]. The outermost layers of the epidermis,
the stratum corneum, provide a permeability barrier that prevents
desiccation and thereby permits life on dry land [2]. The stratum
corneum lipid is an integral part of cell envelop which is consist of a
covalently bound layer to surface protein of cell membrane, and
has its essential function as structural elements of plasmamembrane or lipid envelope surrounding the cells [3]. Similarly,
integral hair lipid (IHL) is bound to the cuticle cell or cortex cell
surface to make an environmentally resistant lipid envelope, as
stratum corneum lipid. Integral lipids are thought to play an
important role in all compartments of hair and skin substructures
[4] and also in involvement of hair development and function
