The local Economic Development Corporation and Jack Wilson Former mayor persuaded Pung and Park to locate the plant in Vernon and in 1989 the operation starts with a public open house that displays their new facility. The plant was easily capable of producing half a million metres of single knit and double knit fabric and 106 680 metres of circular knit material annually, for a yearly output of $4 millon in textile goods. It was also understood that when the Pung principals restteled in Canada they would being with them and additional $5 million in machinery and financing to enlarge operations.
