The Thai-Danish Dairy Farm is considered Thailand’s first-ever dairy farm, which gave demonstration on dairy farming and systematic lessons, creating a new agricultural option for Thai farmers to adopt until today. Dairy farming, then, can be considered the “Conferred occupation by His Majesty the King’s royal grace”.
The opening ceremony was held at the “Thai-Danish Dairy Farm’s” Farm Building 1962 in the royal audience of the two kings, King Frederick 9th of Denmark and King Bhumibol of Thailand. This monumental function has been immortalized in the memorial stone signed by both Their Majesties at the Thai-Danish Dairy Farm at Muak Lek, Saraburi.
