This study has investigated seven quality management practices individually against five measures of performance on 116 SMEs in Ghana. The questionnaire used for the survey was based on the framework of the study which was pilot tested. In all 80 questions were asked including five performance indicators which were profitability,customer satisfaction, sales growth, employee morale, and market share. The study identified a number of significant relationships between the quality management variables and firm performance. The study finds support for the argument that quality management practices improve organisational performance both in large and small
businesses and in any part of the world.
