Thailand Attracts New Zealand Investors
John Key, prime minister of New Zealand, took a group of businessmen from various sectors, including nine companies from the food &beverage industry, on an official visit to Thailand in November 2013.The purpose was to encourage a business treaty to strengthen the food industries of these two countries. Today Thai consumers are more and more concerned about food & beverage quality, which is seen through the increased use of New Zealand' products in Thai restaurants. In 2012, New Zealand exported 345.2 million worth of food & beverage products to Thailand, accounting for 37% of total volume of goods in this sector exported to Thailand
