Here, more than 7 out of 10 in-home care nurses (72.4%) were able to detect hyperactive delirium and one in two (50.6%) the hypoactive form of delirium. As to the ability of the in-home care nurses to detect delirium in older adults with dementia, 40.2% were able to do so. Therefore, the average rate of detection of delirium by the in-home care nurses is 54.4%. Table 5 shows in detail the participant responses to the structured clinical vignettes.
