Our study also showed that it is possible similar agricultural land-uses entail significant differences in farming practices. This farming practice was found particularly associated to the Cattle system which is dominant in the study area, thereby implying that most of the cereals area in the region (52%) The farming system typology built in this study was consistent with similar typology produced by a previous study that used data from framers annual application for CAP payments with in the same study area. Farms could be automatically selected on a yearly basis, avoiding the need for contracting long-term subscription agreement with individual farmers, which would thus be encourage to remain in the premium paid farming systems.
