(A, B, C and D) was 2.13–2.25, lower than normal-weight aggregates
by 17–22%. The specific gravity of bottom ash fine aggregates
(E) was 1.64, which is lower than common sand by about 34%.
Therefore, the bottom ash material had little mass and especially
small particle size. The water absorption of bottom ash coarse
and fine aggregates were 4.01–4.85% and 15.03%, respectively,
much higher than that of conventional aggregates. Therefore, bottom
ash had less strength and higher porosity than conventional
aggregate.
