While attributing skill points to characters, I happened to notice that there are far more possible slots than there are levels (that is--if the game cuts you off at 99--I'm not sure). I realize this means that you have to be selective. My rudimentary question, then, is would it be better to focus on a handful of skills or shoot for more well rounded characters? For example, if I have a zodiac, is it better to level up just his fire skills all the way to 10 and then create zodiacs who are skilled in ice and volt respectively, or should I try to unlock as many skills as possible without bringing them all the way up to level 10?
