Databases and Software
Intranet (Stellent)
Stellent is the Weatherford document control system sometimes referred to as the intranet.
Controlled documents are managed in Stellent to record the most recent approved file with
others and track revisions for audit purposes. Once a document (procedure, checklist,
template, etc.) is written and approved according to the company document data and
records management standard, it should be submitted to a Stellent administrator to upload
to the system. Once this is completed, it will be accessible to all employees via the
“Exchange” on the intranet.
The purpose of this system is to:
· Provide for a process-based approach that manages controlled documents and
records
· Achieve compliance with Weatherford quality management-systems or regulatory
requirements
· Provide global visibility for the sharing of best practices and lessons learned
· Provide a controlled, centralized, and electronic repository for documents and
records
To access the system, a connection to the Weatherford intranet is required, and by typing in
the correct address you will be taken to http://515intranet/winexchange/. The majority of
required documents will be found on the controlled tab on the Exchange.
