Surface S2. S2 shows characteristics that are similar to those exhibited by S1, in particular U- to V-shaped concave-up features separated by relatively flat tracts (Figures 5 and 6). The concaveup features in average show a lower relief compared with those associated with S1, as it does not exceed 8 m (Figures 5 and 6). However, in some cases, they are over 0.5 km wide (the SH316 seismic profile; Figure 6b). In general, the concave-up features related to S2 developed away from those related to S1, with the exception of the larger ones found in the SH307 seismic profile (Figures 5 and 6). The flatter, near horizontal tracts of S2, connecting the concave-up features, are located between c. 2 and 5.5 m below the lagoon floor (Figures 5 and 6). S2 occasionally truncates S1, representing the local boundary between the late- Pleistocene and Holocene deposits (Figures 5 and 6)
