During the first 30 day, Amazon sold books in all 50 states and 45 other countries. Bezon know right then that his idea would grow into something huge.
In 1996, the Wall Street Journal ran a story about Amazon.com in its front page, which did two things.
First, it made a whole new Stream of potential customers aware On Amazon.com.
Second, it caught Barnes and Noble, Borders, and other booksellers of guard because they didn’t have Websites.
