TenneT’s Executive Board believes that underlying financial information better represents its actual business and financial performance, and therefore uses it for management reporting and analysis, as well as for internal decision-making and financial planning purposes. TenneT reports 3 separate segments: TSO Netherlands, TSO Germany and non-regulated companies. The underlying financial information is reconciled to the consolidated IFRS financial statements in note 2. We have assessed whether the underlying financial information reflects how TenneT’s Executive Board assesses performance and manages the business, by reference to the internal quarterly reporting and other internal financial reports and analyses.
