Unfortunately and embarrassingly enough, I booked the wrong weekend with this host. I ended up getting dates mixed up, but when I tried to rebook and figure things out with the host, I received NO response and obviously no refund. I would want others in my position to be aware that communication may be an issue. It was an issue for me when I tried to message the host without using the ''instant booking'' feature. In the spirit of airbnb, it is my responsibility to be clear and careful about my dates of travel, but communication works both ways. Hoping that these words of wisdom will help others and improve the airbnb community.
