and nESI-QTOF MS/MS was used to identify the differentially
abundant protein species observed for the transgenic and
non-transgenic leaves. Finally, it is not the objective of this work
to present arguments in favour of or against transgenic crops or,
more generally, genetic modified organisms (GMOs); instead, our
aim was to investigate potential changes in cell biology and the
stress response as the result of genetic modification.
