2.4. Preparation of SiO2@rGO hybrids
SiO2, the new peaks for APES-SiO2 (1600–1300 cm
) correspond-
SiO2@rGO hybrids were fabricated by mixing the solution of negatively charged GPTMS-GO sheets and the aqueous suspension of positively charged APES-SiO2 nanoparticles. The obtained GPTMS-GO aqueous solution was slowly added into the APES- SiO2 suspension under stirring with 0.5 h, and hydrazine hydrate (10 times weight relative to GO) was added into the obtained SiO2/GO hybrids suspensions to reduce the GO, and the reduction was maintained at 95 C for 10 h. Then, the precipitates were fil- tered and washed with DI water, followed by drying in a vacuum oven at 60 C for 24 h. Finally, the SiO2@rGO hybrids were obtained with the rGO and SiO2 weight ratio of 1/99.
