As you can see, one of the major drawbacks of systems based on a crosspoint matrix architecture is
that their size and resulting cost grow in proportion to the square of the number of users. This square-law
growth is shown by the fact that four users require 16 crosspoint switches, 50 users require 2,500 crosspoints,
and a large system of 250 users would require in excess of 60,000 crosspoints! Our 3 RU matrix for 50 users
