Suan Nongnuj garden in Pattaya have donated more than 1,000 palm trees and other trees for landscaping at the Rajabhakti Park in Hua Hin, said Mr Kampon Tansatja, director of Suan Nongnuj, on Thursday.
He added that the only costs he charged from Rajabhakti Park Foundation for the donation of trees were fuel costs for the transportation of the trees from Pattaya to the park in Hua Hin and wages for workers for the landscaping totaling about four million baht.
The palm trees included Tarn Fah, Cherry Palm, Washingtonia robusta , Sai Thaeng and Sai Yodthong. When they were planted together to form a single file shape, it looked like a procession of army troops which was a matching with the giant statutes of seven former Thai kings.
