Following the claims conference we had a few weeks back and the discussions around our claims business partners, we agreed with Sabby that I would first conduct a situation analysis (quantitative and qualitative) and go from there to drive our relationships with our suppliers towards where they need to be to be found out depending on the finding of the business requirements.
The first step of this situation analysis is the file that I have attached. I have collected as much data as possible to make this exercise as efficient as possible.
Therefore could you please for your respective country:
• Take a look at the data I provided (for the year 2014) and either
o Let me know that the data is complete and correct
o Complete the data if this does not reflect the correct picture
• What I am looking for:
o All the claim vendors you are using (loss adjustors/surveyors, KPG, EW repairers, experts accounting, engineering etc..)
o The spend we had with them for last year
Once I collect that for the region, I will initiate discussions with you and your teams to understand the business requirements (what works, what does not, what you need from those vendors etc…)
Finally, when I have a complete picture, we will decide on the best sourcing approach with each category of vendors.
I know you are all quite busy but I would appreciate if you could get back to me by the end of next week.
