This study is subject to two main limitations that suggest
the next steps in developing this research stream. First of
all, the World Exposition represents a mega-event, and
these kinds of events depict several specificities influencing
the level and the nature of the expectations of visitors (e.g.,
[39]). Hence, the study and the measure should be
replicated in different contexts in order to test their
adaptability to different tourism offers. A second limit lies
in the testing of the segmentation model only on Chinese
