1. Introduction
Organic coatings are widely used to protect aluminium and its alloys against corrosive environments. However, there is a need of using coatings with low porosity and high resistance against hydrolytic degradation in order to obtain long term corrosion protection properties. Researchers have tried to improve the protective performance of the organic coatings through different methods.
