When ethanol was used as a solvent, there was an increase in
the oil yields when the seed-to-solvent ratio of 1/4 was decreased
to 1/6, but the oil content decreased at a seed-to-solvent ratio of 1/
8, and the mean values obtained under these conditions were lower than the other two seed-to-solvent mentioned above. There
were no significant differences at seed to solvent ratios of 1/4
and 1/6 when isopropanol was used as an extraction solvent.
