proposed that
emotional intelligence of the managers is strongly associated
with desirable corporate culture such as greater optimism,
less depression, and less impulsivity in the working
environment. When emotional intelligence is fostered by the
managers, there will be the increase in employee motivation,
cooperation, performance, productivity, and profits as
proposed by reference [26]. Because of those reasons, the
emotional intelligence concept cannot be separated from the
concept of leadership and therefore this concept is worth to
take consideration in any organization.
