The
skin color of at least 10 randomly chosen almonds was measured.
At least 15 randomly selected kernels were skinned by hand after
soaking them in water for 20 min, and were then ground in a blender
for 5 s (Warring Commercial Heavy Duty Blend 38BL19 CB10,
Waring Laboratory & Science, CT, USA) and the color of ground almonds
was measured
