Fig. 4 shows the power cost difference between conventional air-conditioning system and air-conditioning system with storage and adjustment. In normal period, the two systems are almost the same power cost, but in peak load period, storage system shifts the peak load, which saves about 52.6% power cost, and in valley load period, it costs 48.4% for power more than traditional system does. Further more, with this system configuration, the power consumption is just 0.8% more than traditional system. Therefore, the new system achieves more than 15% of cost saving with less energy consumption increment and investment of equipment, which shows good economic performance.
