Figure 3 shows the measured photovoltaic characteristics
of the DSSCs with and without the current-collecting
structure of Ag-metal fingers. The results indicate that, only
conversion efficiency of 0.76% was observed without using
the current-collecting structure of Ag-metal fingers. In
contrast to this, the conversion efficiencies the metal fingers
cell of 45mm×8mm and 45mm×3.5mm, respectively. This
improvement of the conversion efficiency could be attributed
the low serial resistance loss of the injected photo-electrons
transported in the photoanode.
