This book , Islam and terrorism ,should be read by everyone. As a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and dean of a university with a subsidiary seminary , I knew some of the information in this book . But I had trouble believing that Islam really is so committed to destroying Christians and all non-Islamic government. The author , DR. Mark Gabriel , clearly documents the identification between modern terrorism and Islam theology. He also explains his journey to Christian faith and the resultant persecution by family and country. I was especially impressed by his explanation regarding the “ love for Christians “ passages in the Quran. He explained that they are from earlier , weaker Mecca years , and that in the later years at Medina , when the prophet had total control, retribution was proclaimed. Muslims call this distinction nask –that the later words of retribution for infidels replaced the previous words of love. This book is a must – read for everyone striving to understand the roots of terrorism in the word today and the conflict with Islam.
