isopropylacrylimide (NIPAM) was recrystallized from hexane and
allylamine was distilled under vacuum prior to use. The enzyme used
in this study was cellulase (Cellic® CTec 2) which was provided by
Novozymes, Inc. (Franklinton, NC, USA). The protein concentration of
enzyme stock was 220 mg enzyme protein (EP)/mL and it contained
cellulase,
β
-glucosidase and hemicellulase activities according the
supplier's application sheet.
