Kuda’s notes and tidbits. Texts below contains spoilers from this and/or previous episodes.
– This is a really weird episode. Funny, but still weird. I feel like there was one too many cut-away scene. But I suppose it fits with the theme. This is what goes on inside Noh’s head while he’s drunk…except we kinda know what goes inside his head in general when we read the novel. Maybe that’s why I find this whole episode to be weird. I get that LS is more of a lighthearted show so they’re trying to avoid heavy drama, but the problem is Noh learning about that whole thing with Aim was supposed to be a big deal. It felt like they just glossed over everything and covered the episode with humor instead. I appreciate good and cute humor but there’s a time and place for everything and this episode had a bit too much of that.
– They shuffled and expanded the middle part of Chapter 26 a bit. I kinda liked that.
– I appreciate that they kept the plots simple this episode. We had the A story with Noh and Phun. B story with Mo and Moan (MoAn? It’s so weird how similar their names are. It’s literally one letter off in Thai.) And just a hint of Pang (she’s back, yay!) and Pop.
– I just noticed they released the MV for Unconditional Love (aka the ending theme), I haven’t even seen it yet but I’ll put the subbed version out later and will probably make a separate post for it or something. I don’t know yet.
– And because some will ask, these are the songs from the episode.
Smile – scrubb (Apparently Chain wasn’t actually singing this, unless his voice is nearly identical to the original.)
That dance song that they kept playing too loudly over dialogues.
