The students formed two teams based on their main interests and started by writing down questions they had about their topics. They brainstormed ways to find answers to their questions, then set out to find answers online, inspecting their local water drainage systems, testing and measuring water use as well as interviewed locals, researching how other communities deal with such issues. This week, the project will come to an end, with all students ready to proudly present how they took action to conserve water long term, improve water drainage at Fatima and enable all residents to properly dispose of food scraps to limit the inadvertent feeding of rodents.
