The current NACS was introduced to and officially adopted by the current government as a roadmap and framework for combating corruption nationwide. It designates appropriate roles and functions of all the stakeholders in various sectors of the society, as well as ways and means for those parties to work collectively to achieve, the common goal of 'future without corruption'. Most importantly, the NACS Phase II emphasizes the dual priciples of prevention and suppression to be enacted concomitantly with an aim to put in place a sustainable solution for eradication of corruption and creation of 'society with integrity'.
