The newly created role of International Business Development Executive specifically offers the opportunity to continue to build the Sales function through working closely with the CEO to personally deliver on business plan targets and KPI's. It is a high profile role and key to the central plans of the business and involves working with existing, known and unknown potential customers to build solid revenue streams across the product and service range.
This is an exciting time in this space with customer engagement increasing through the technological applications on offer and importantly, through the end user education and management. Essentially, the company has an expanding market for its services and equipment and consumables.
Responsibilities include: Generating and qualifying sales opportunities, National and International Customer visits, Preparing Strategic Account Plans, Developing and presenting value propositions, Sales negotiation and closure, attending conferences and exhibitions both in the UK and overseas.

You will be a sales professional with significant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life-sciences or technology fields. Preferably but not necessarily, within a capital equipment environment.
International sales experience would certainly be of interest but a desire to work on international customers with the travel that that entails, is key.
You will have a degree and be capable of establishing credibility within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or diagnostic equipment market.
