Clarity
1. unintelligible, not accessible, painful to read, words in no conceivable logical pattern, any falls in the category will likely not be marked
2. hard to understand, argument/ thesis requires reconstruction, not organised work, several re‐reads allow only some understanding
3. re‐read is required to understand, no explicit logical order of paragraphs, discussed ideas/arguments, work can still be assessed with reasonable effort
4. good structure, OK use of introduction, effective use of paragraphs, transitions, points made may incur few questions
5. easy to follow work/project, main elements stated clearly, never require concentration, tackle possible misunderstanding e.g. by using definitions
6. clear, accurate, very explicit thesis and argument(s) and method of arguing stated, completely organised work, no questions asked!
