FIRE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
5.4 DUTY MANAGER ON DUTY RESPONSE
(Emergency Response Team Leader)
5.4.1 Upon receipt of paging, proceed to the exact location.
5.4.2 Proceed to the scene immediately with the following essential items:
- Master key
- Torch light
- Walkie talkie, pager, DECT phone
5.4.3 If fire is present, informs Telephone Operator to notify LCMT and Fire and Rescue Services Department at telephone 085-9180981 or 081-8454554 Khun Victor Sukseree
5.4.4 Deploy Emergency Team members to combat fire.
5.4.5 If there are any casualties, to instruct Operator to send the Nurse on Duty.
5.4.6 Once confirmed with the Nurse on Duty, inform Operator to call for an ambulance.
5.4.7 If fire is spreading, use judgment to initiate evacuation after consulting with the General Manager.
5.4.8 The Fire and Rescue Services Department personnel will take charge on arrival.
5.4.9 Instruct all members of staff to evacuate except Duty Security Officer.
5.4.10 Station one Security Personnel at the fire area to keep watch after the fire is extinguished.
5.4.11 Inform Financial Controller's office to report to Insurance Company. During public holidays and outside office hours, contact the loss adjusters yourself.
5.4.12 Instruct Security Personnel to take color photos of affected area and pass over to Financial Controller.
5.4.13 Provide the loss adjusters with the following information:
- Discovery of fire
- Spread, stop and extinguishment of fire
- Measures taken to minimize the loss.
5.4.14 Compile a list of damaged items with Housekeeping and Engineering departments.
5.4.15 After appropriate inspections, restore affected areas immediately.
5.4.16 Keep a log of incident in chronological order.
