3-3 Experimental results
Fig 5 shows the waveforms of voltage and current at the utility side at the PWM converter It can be seen that the controlled current becomes nearly in phase with utility voltage, and hence the power factor becomes above 0 9
The power reversal from the rectifying to the inverting operation occurs when load reduces lower Fig 6 shows the power reversal pattern when the load reduces from 100[%] to O[%] The transient state appears during about 1 cycle, and the current flows entirely from solar array to the utility side rather than load without changing the magnitude
The dynamic response of utility current is given in F g 7 when load decreases from loo[%] to 50[%] abruptly and return again to 10o[O/,] In both cases a ne^ .,teddy state reaches with 4 cycles of utility voltage, and hence relatively good dynamic response can be ,ilown by the proposed method
