programmingformulationoftheproblemthatallowsusto find anoptimalpolicyinsmallsizeinstances.
Finally,wedesignandimplementamatheuristicapproach,integratingarolloutalgorithmandan
optimal solutionofmixed-integerlinearprogrammingmodels,whichisabletosolverealisticsize
problem instances.Computationalresultsallowustoprovidemanagerialinsightsconcerningthe
management ofstochasticdemand.
