Building management is performed during the phase which follows the building phase of a
the operational phase. This phase involves several management activities
among which the most important consist in technical maintenance of a building. The
abandonment of these activities may limit the functionality of a building and, in extreme case,
significant in such cases .
Building management usually involves the participation of a manager who, faced with a number
of problems and issues, has to make decisions which require vast knowledge, analytical skills as
well as speed and selfactivities
helping to gather data, knowledge, make technical diagnostics or take decisions. This
article presents a review of these tools, in particular an individual repair advisory system.
