Cleft lip and cleft palate is one of the main problems of child health in Thailand. According to the surveys, it was found in more than 800 children per year mostly in the Northeastern region. Most of the children with cleft lip and cleft palate were born in families with financial problems. Moreover, in the present, the rates of these conditions have not decreased yet. Hence, The Tawanchai Foundation was established in order to help these populations. However, because the numbers of these groups steadily increase, the services are still inadequate including lack of funds for medical costs and shortage of multidisciplinary providers. Thus, This Tawanchai Foundation needs both financial and human resource supports from all organizations.
