The batch experiments A and B were both performed in one litre
glass jars containing 500 g of vermicompost (humidity
= 75.6 ± 1.88%, pH = 7.31 ± 0.16, organic carbon content based
on dry weight = 28.83 ± 1.63 wt.%; for all n = 3) with 115 g fresh
food/jar (pH 5.78 ± 0.46; n = 3).
