In the present paper, the kinetics of the NH3 oxidation on Fe/BEA zeolite catalyst was examined representing a
side reaction of the selective catalytic reaction of NOx. The kinetic studies were performed in a gradient-free
loop reactor between 723 and 773 K varying the concentration of NH3 and O2. TheNH3 oxidation was described
by a global kinetic model implying the adsorption/desorption of NH3 followed by its reactionwith O2. The implemented
kinetic parameters were suitable for the reproduction and prediction of the experiments over a broad
range of NH3 and O2 concentrations evidencing the reliability of the model.
