This AgNPs solution was stable
without significant aggregation even after 2 months of storage.
Another thermal method, an autoclaving method (15 psi, 121 ◦C,
5 min), was studied for manufacturing of stable AgNPs in size range
of 10–34 nm where soluble starch acted as both a reducing and
stabilizing agent (Vigneshwaran et al., 2007). AgNPs were stabilized
by entrapping inside the helical amylose structure of starch,
as confirmed by iodometric titration.
