The Thai Red Cross fair at lumping Park, Bangkok, Thailand is the biggest fair in Bangkok and it looks magical at night. The Thai Red Cross fair aims to raise funds for the Thai Red Cross Society. The fair feels a lot like a big night market but just at Lumpini Park. There is a strong military presence at the fair as the Thai Royal Family and government officials also attend this fair. It’s great to see the Thai Royal Family coming to support these types of events. The fair has a small fairground which has your typical carnival rides, carnival games and of course food stalls. It is a family-friendly event and has lots of activities happening throughout the entire day and night.Surprisingly this festival draws in huge amount of crowds, especially at night, when the sun goes down.I thought there was a lot of people during the day, but a night there was even more people, which is unbelievable. It’s jammed packed with people everywhere you go. There wasn’t a dull section at all, there was something happening in every corner of the fair.If I was to recommend if you go during the day or night, I would suggest going at night. Just because Lumpini Park, just lights up like magic and it’s full of colourful lights and I love being around large crowds of people. Also, you don’t get the hot sun, blaring down on you at night and things just look better at night. If you don’t like crowds, your best coming during the day, but you will have to put up with the blazing hot weather. There is still a lot of people during the day, but not as much compared to night.
