ENGLAND EXIT KEPT TERRY FIT ALL SEASON
PREMIER LEAGUE
JOHN TERRY think quitting international football helped him to play every minute of Chelsea's triumphant title win.
The Chelsea skipper became only the fifth player to feature in every game of the Premier League title-wining campaign when he played in the Blue' 38th and final match against Sunderland.
'I was delighted to play every minute,'Terry,34,told reporters at the club's post-season tour in Sydney. 'At my age you get written off as well, so it was nice to play all the games.
'[Not playing] internationals as well, I feel I've benefited from those couple of day off.
"So the manager and the staff deserve a lot of credit and me as well, obviously, for staying fit and keeping my form."
Terry wants to play on."I'm hoping I can do that under the manager and still be playing.
