One end of the specimen is clamped between two back plates to provide back tension. The iLoad Mini load cell (Load Cell II) with a capacity of 889.6 N and accuracy of 2.2 N is used to measure the clamping load. The other end of the specimen is attached to RAS1 S-Beam(Load Cell I) that is bolted to the actuator of the draw bench. LoadCell I has a capacity of 8896.4 N and accuracy of 1.8 N, and is used to measure the drawing/pulling force. The die radius can be changedby replacing the die insert in the holder. While the die is a freely rotating cylinder in a typical bending under tension tester, the dieis fixed (no rotation allowed) in the present experimental set-upto simulate the practical forming processes prescribed by industry.The developed testing apparatus is shown in Fig. 2.
