The activities of cellulase and β-glucosidase were 52 FPU/ml and 240 IU/ml according to the method presented by Adney and Baker (1996) and Ximenes et al. (1996), respectively. M. hiemalis (CCUG 16148) and S.cerevisiae (CCUG 53310) for ethanolic fermentation were obtained from Culture Collection of Gothenburg University (Gothenburg,Sweden). The fungus was cultivated on agar petri dishes with medium composition of 40 g/L glucose, 20 g/L agar, and 10 g/L pep-tone at pH 5.5 ± 0.1 and 32 ± 0.5◦C for 5 days. The petri dishes werestored at 4◦C before use (Goshadrou et al., 2011; Karimi et al., 2006).
